Lady Gaga and Brad Pitt’s hat designers set up shop in Oxford

These advertisements enable local businesses to stand out among their target audience (local communities).
It is important that we continue to promote these ads, because our local businesses need as much support as possible in this challenging time.
A HAT chain that created headwear for Lady Gaga and Brad Pitt opened a store in the city center.
Hats and hats store Laird Hatters planned to open its sixth store on the 28th in Cornmarket in November, but it was delayed due to the second shutdown.
During the Christmas period, the store may only be open for three weeks, and then the county enters a four-level restriction, followed by a national lockdown, which means that all non-essential stores must be closed.
Since the store is now open for business, the married couple Alex and Zofia Torun-Shaw are determined to make their headwear store the latest success.
Mr. Torun Shaw said: “The blockade sounds terrible and heartbreaking, but we plan to stay here for a long time and have signed a long-term lease-but hopefully this stagnant beginning will be a drop in the ocean.”
The couple, who met during college, personally managed and designed all the hats and manufactured the products near their home in Hertfordshire.
The pair of masters owns other stores in central London and Cambridge, but has long opened a store in Oxford.
After looking for a suitable house for their “wild hat”, the couple was excited to find this 14th-century building on Cornmarket.
Mr. Torun Shaw said: “Cambridge is doing very well and Oxford is beautiful, so we decided to open here.
Since the start of the business in 2009, the “gorgeous” hat shop has attracted quite a few celebrities.
Lady Gaga wore one of the custom hats of the Video Music Awards, while other A-lists such as Brad Pitt, Kiera Knightly and Tom Hardy went to the store to shop for more personal use.
The next star appearance of this hat shop will be the new music video of American pop star Doja Cat.
Shaw’s headwear has also appeared many times in fashion magazines such as GQ and British Vogue.
Explaining why I chose to start designing hats, Mr. Torun Shaw said: “I want to do more creative work and do some rather niche things.
“Hats have always been very beautiful things, but there are not many hat manufacturers or hat manufacturers in Europe.
“When we first started, they were very traditional, using monotonous colors, but now we use velvet finishes and suede to give them more vitality.”
Since the couple started their business in 2009, the popularity of hats has risen-the couple attributed this to the success of the TV series “Mad Men” and “Peaky Blinders” (Peaky Blinders).
They are always looking for new inspirations and they make sure that all materials and fabrics used in the headwear come from the UK.
